In addition to opening the stockings, we also did the Caga Tió, which, if you're not familiar with scatological Catalan traditions, involves beating an anthropomorphic log with a stick until it poos presents. No, seriously. If there's one thing Sofia likes to do, it's beat things with a stick. This log better have some good presents under that blanket.
When you're tired of hitting the log with the stick, just take the easy route and go directly for the blanket. Thanks to Jordi, our Christmas Eve dinner included lobster on orzo pasta with a shellfish reduction.
