A few of the photos from our wedding last July. Friends and family came from five countries on both sides of the Atlantic to the mountains just outside of Barcelona.  Early morning on the day of the wedding, and despite a long delay at the hairdresser's, Amy and her bridal party are in the chair and starting the preparations.  About seven hours left before the ceremony, and the hair is done...now it's time to head out of the city for the drive to Can Marlet.  The wedding site, a couple of hours before the guests start to arrive. The ceremony was held under a tent alongside a forest stream. Even in July it can sometimes rain in the mountains, but except for a few sprinkles early in the day we were lucky.  Kirstyn helps make the final preparations as Amy mentally composes herself for the big moment.  Amy is psyched-up and ready to go!  Flowers, gown and veil...all that's left now are a few minutes of photo and video shoot, then the traditional poem from the best man.  Groomsman Jose greets the guests as they arrive, making sure that everyone receives a program in either English or Catalan.  
Karen, Steve, Emily and Javier make their way to their seats as the big moment approaches...

Finally got a chance to view the pictures. Wow! You sure did it right. What a beautiful setting. And Amy your gown was just so perfect. Congratulations! And nice Web site, too, by the way. Miss you guys.

Wow - what a guest book, and what great memories the commentary brought back! Your wedding was wonderful, and Amy you are gorgeous! Thanks for taking the time to put this album together for everyone to enjoy. My favorite commentary - the laugh out loud commentary - was definately the one where "everyone is looking in a different direction" so true!
